Name: Talor Duncan
Born in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand in 1995

Which model(s)/size of Taylor bowls do you enjoy playing with and why? Currently i'm using size 4 Redline SRV. They are a great bowl and suit all conditions/surfaces we play on in the Bay of Plenty. I feel Taylor Bowls stand the test of time!

Bowls Tauranga South & Tauranga Bowling Club

When and why did you start playing bowls? My first introduction to bowls was when I was at primary when I join my Nana at indoor bowls after school until my parents finished work. Then at Secondary School I joined the bowls team to take up the opportunity to spend less time in English.

Are there any particular stories/incidents you would like to tell us about that relate to your bowling? I had a drive and the jack jammed and jumped up hitting my 6ft4 partner standing on the bank in the chest (he was fine).

In the bowling world who do you most admire and why?
Aaron Sheriff, he’s always so calm and collected under pressure.

Do you have a favourite – film, book, song, football team, actor, etc? It can be more than one if you like. I am a huge supporter of the my local rugby team Greerton Marist and I follow all my regional rugby teams, Bay of Plenty, Chiefs and who can forget the All Blacks.
